About CREATE Health Clinics

Based in Harley Street London and Wimbledon, CREATE Health is a pioneering fertility clinic providing a new vision for women’s health based on a natural and ethical approach to fertility treatment. They are different from other clinics because they advocate natural and mild fertility treatments over conventional IVF treatments.

Their philosophy is to promote safe, patient-centred fertility care that combines a natural approach with state-of-the-art technology under the guidance of internationally renowned experts.

The challenge

CREATE Health had been running some marketing activity online for some time before they approached us.

They were looking for help with paid and organic search marketing in order to maximise their marketing & attract more clients to their clinics.

They were already running some paid search marketing on Google AdWords and in terms of on-site search engine optimisation (SEO) there was plenty of opportunity for improvement.

Our solution

Having discussed their requirements in more detail, we undertook a review of CREATE's website, their competitors and their online marketing activity to date.

We recommended that CREATE implement Google Analytics web tracking to their website and then focus on maximising the AdWords activity (along with a few key optimised pages) as this would help drive and convert website visitors while also helping us identify & test any keywords that we should be looking at from a wider SEO point of view.

Once we had more data and were clearer on what was driving traffic and what was generating conversions (enquiries, bookings, etc.), we could propose some more involved SEO next steps including content development.

As our findings were likely to have a significant bearing on what was expected of a new createhealth.org website, we also advised that any major web development be temporarily on hold until we knew more.

The results

As suggested we agreed to proceed as follows:

1. Google Analytics implementation

Working with CREATE's in-house web team to generate, implement & setup Google Analytics (including Goal tracking) tracking on the createhealth.org website.

2. Google AdWords campaign setup

Reviewing & amending CREATE's existing AdWords campaign to optimise what was there already.

3. Initial SEO on Campaign Landing Pages

Working with CREATE's in-house web team we optimised 5-10 key landing pages to support Google AdWords activity and improve performance while reducing campaign costs. This process also enabled us to introduce some stronger calls to action.

4. Ongoing Google AdWords campaign management

Regular (monthly) monitoring, management & reporting for the AdWords campaign, ensuring performance is as good as possible.

By implementing these changes, and continuing to manage their ongoing paid search activities we generated some great results in paid and natural search. Statistical data from Google Analytics supports the success of the project over a 7-month period as follows:

• Website visits up more than 40%
• Enquiries up nearly 70%
• Over 2 million views of AdWords ads (great brand awareness!)
• Paid search engine traffic up nearly 200%
• Organic search engine traffic up more than 30%
• Average cost per click (CPC) decreased by 80%
• A substantial increase in service-related search traffic for terms including ‘ivf’, 'natural ivf' and ‘ivf london’.
